Three Facets of Life and ...

Hi all,

I'm keeping it short today. There is a lot of injustice in the world, it is not so hard to see for anyone. It is part of the reason what attracted me to writing a series for young adult, because it seems that they feel affected by this the most. Society expects increasingly more from everyone, and especially from the younger generation. One of the reasons why empowerment is such a powerful force (within books that appeal to young and old) is that along the path of growing up, finding your purpose in life, having a job, family, friends and dealing with mortality it is hard to feel you are in control.

At this point there are several paths I can take this blog, and trying to deal with them all right here (and especially why they impact what I'm trying to write) would be an injustice in itself. So I'm just going to list (as a reminder) what the next few blogs will be about:

1. Injustice, and how we deal with it,
2. Control, do we have it or is it an illusion,
3. Empowerment for young and old - it's all the same.

So stick around for the next few days if you're interested and if that doesn't grab your attention I'll have something really controversial next week that is bound to scare, confront and make you think (it did with me).
